Room Rates

Rates vary by duration and whether you are joining us as a diver or a non-diving guest. Non-divers and snorkellers join the dive boat — up to three excursions per day, except on arrival and departure days.

Current rates are valid from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.

Seaview Chalet

Six chalets built into the limestone karst cliffside, each with an elevated sea view and a large private veranda.

Inclusions & Exclusions

Included

• Accommodation: Six seaview chalets, each with a private veranda and sea view.
• Meals: Full board — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — featuring local and Asian cuisine.
• Transfers: Scheduled boat and land transfers from Berau (Tanjung Redeb). Guests arriving via Tarakan should contact us to arrange transfers.
• Internet: Complimentary Starlink satellite internet throughout your stay.
• Diving: Guided boat dives, tanks, weights, and belts (diver packages). Dives run daily except on arrival and departure days.
• Snorkelling: Non-divers and snorkellers join the dive boat for up to three excursions per day, except on arrival and departure days.
• Day Trips to Kakaban and Sangalaki: One boat trip to each island is included for stays of 5 nights or more. Additional trips and all visits to Talisayan are subject to per-boat fees — see below.

Not Included

• Travel Insurance: Comprehensive dive and travel insurance is strongly recommended.
• Rental Gear: BCD, regulators, and other personal dive equipment (available for rent at the resort).
• Flights: Airfare to Berau or Tarakan.
• Gratuities: Tips for the local team are not included but always appreciated.
• Park & Conservation Fees:
  • Kakaban Jellyfish Lake: Rp50,000 per person
  • Sangalaki Turtle Conservation: Rp150,000 per person
  • Whale Shark Encounter at Talisayan: Rp100,000 per person (a contribution to the local bagan fishing communities who host the encounters)
• Day Trip Boat Fees: All fees are per boat.
  • Kakaban Island: USD200 per boat (one trip included for stays of 5 nights or more)
  • Sangalaki Island: USD300 per boat (one trip included for stays of 5 nights or more)
  • Whale Shark at Talisayan: USD450 per boat (applicable on all stays)

Day trip boat fees are subject to change without notice due to fluctuating fuel costs.

Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Full cancellation terms will be provided with your booking confirmation.

Unused Services

No refund will be issued for any unused portion of a trip — including accommodation, dives, meals, transfers, or permits — once the trip has departed from the point of origin.

Children

Infants (0–3 years): Free of charge, except for transfers which are billed at adult rates. Infants must stay in the same chalet as their parents.

Children (4–12 years): Charged at 50% of the non-diver package rate. Children must share a chalet with their parents. Ad hoc dive purchases are available directly at the resort. Parents bear full responsibility for their children at all times.

Group Leader Complimentary (FOC)

One complimentary trip is offered to the tour leader of any qualifying group — club trip, dive store trip, or organised group — for every 5 paying guests departing from Berau. The complimentary guest must arrive and depart with the group.

The complimentary package covers twin share accommodation, meals, and diving. Unused portions cannot be exchanged for cash or carried forward. Any additional charges are payable directly to the resort.
