Part 2: Booking Terms
These terms apply to all bookings made with Maratua Dive Resort, whether confirmed via WhatsApp, email, or any other channel.
Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Full cancellation terms will be provided with your booking confirmation.
Unused Services
No refund will be issued for any unused portion of a trip — including accommodation, dives, meals, transfers, or permits — once the trip has departed from the point of origin.
Children
Infants (0–3 years): Free of charge, except for transfers which are billed at adult rates. Infants must stay in the same chalet as their parents.
Children (4–12 years): Charged at 50% of the non-diver package rate. Children must share a chalet with their parents. Ad hoc dive purchases are available directly at the resort. Parents bear full responsibility for their children at all times.
Group Leader Complimentary (FOC)
One complimentary trip is offered to the tour leader of any qualifying group — club trip, dive store trip, or organised group — for every 5 paying guests departing from Berau. The complimentary guest must arrive and depart with the group.
The complimentary package covers twin share accommodation, meals, and diving. Unused portions cannot be exchanged for cash or carried forward. Any additional charges are payable directly to the resort.
Liabilities
We reserve the right to alter, amend, or cancel any arrangements contained in the itinerary.
Renovations
We reserve the right to close any part of the facilities and carry out repairs, renovations, or upgrades upon reasonable notice, at our sole discretion.
Force Majeure
We will not be liable, in whole or in part, for any disruption caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to fire, flood, strikes, labour disputes, material shortages, transportation difficulties, accidents, war, civil unrest, acts of God, or changes in law.
